I applied online. I interviewed at Hulu (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter, who then set up an interview for me with the team. The girls who interviewed me were shockingly unprofessional, and it honestly made me very uncomfortable. They asked difficult questions about my personality and work ethic, rather than asking about my actual work experience...and the whole thing felt like I was rushing a sorority. One of the girls even had her feet up on a chair! Totally unprofessional and just super rude!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What's something bad your current team members would say about you?
(Why you would ask someone this, I have no idea..)
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Hulu (New York, NY) in Aug 2018
Interview
Did a few interviews with the team and they were all very friendly. I had a few phone interviews and then an in-person interview. I received the interview through an employee referral but did not get the job. However, still a great company and they were great about getting back to me. The HR team was very helpful.

Question 1
They asked about my past experience. They do not tend to hire entry level so they want to make sure you have experience.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Hulu (New York, NY) in Mar 2018
Interview
I was referred to the Ad Sales team through a connection. The recruiter reached out to me about a Sales Planner role and set up ~15-20 mins to chat about the role. Recruiter called and was extremely rude the entire conversation. At the beginning of the call she said, "normally I wouldn't even interview you because it doesn't look like you have any experience in media or what we're looking for, but I got your name from a higher up so I had to". First, I do have experience in Media. Second, clearly you're not going to vouch for me throughout the process so why even bother? Needless to say, she literally didn't ask me any questions (not even, "tell me about yourself"), ended the call after 10 minutes, and I never heard back despite following up. Terrible experience.
