I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Human Resocia in Mar 2019
Interview
Campus interview process took place. Mostly group interviews consisting of technical and HR questions. Also questions related to Japanese proficiency. The interview was taken by a panel. Overall not too difficult.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you want to work in Japan.
Tell about yourself.
What was your project.
What are Japanese brands you know.
How long will you work.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Human Resocia in Apr 2024
Interview
A recruiter from the company knocked me in LinkedIn and collected my resume. After resume screening - got the invitation for a coding test followed by online interview. (Interview: Apr 2024)
- Performed well in the coding test. Difficulty level between easy and medium.
- Online interview experience was very disappointing and they lack professionalism.
# Before starting the interview - first I need to assure them that if I get the preliminary offer then I must left my current job and learn full time japanese language for the next 6-8 months without any monetary support from them. If I pass the language test then my job offer will be confirmed!!!!! Obviously the offer is only suitable for fresh graduates, It is not for someone already have more than 5+ years of job experience.
# Questions like my current job salary and my past job salaries? seems unprofessional
# Questions like are you willing to skip your religious prayers during the office time or not - duration of each prayer - surprised me.
# No emphasis on my recent projects and only questioning about my undergraduate university projects from the year 2011 to 2017 seems unnecessary. (such as what version of programming language you have used in your xyz project in 2012!!!!!)
# Their English skill was below average, sometimes i need to write down some of the terms in the message section so that they can understand
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
No recent project related questions - only questioning about undergraduate university projects (almost 5-7 years ago) like how many members team, which version of C/CPP/Java you have used in that project etc.
