PPI Complaint Handler - Leeds Interview

Anonymous Employee in Leeds, England (UK)
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Huntswood (Leeds, England (UK)) in March 2018.

    Interview

Interview was held at a hotel in Leeds. Overall it took around 45-50 mins and I was done.

The interview process asked basic actions which I have listed below, all every straight forward.

The second part of the interview was a 30 min assessment which consisted of 4 parts:

    1) Mathematical, a bar-chart was shown and questions were like what was how much more did product A sell than product B.

    2) Multiple choice behaviour questions and you had to circle the right one.

    3) Proof reading for errors. A latter was given and you had to highlight 10 mistakes which were quite straight forward like you’re instead of your in places.

    4) letter writing exercise. In this part we were given a letter from a customer who had been charged for a d/d for which they had asked to cancel.

Start by apologising to the customer and inform them that we will refund them.

    Hope this helps. Good luck

    Case Handler Interview

Anonymous Employee in Reading, England (UK)
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Huntswood (Reading, England (UK)) in January 2016.

    Interview

Aptitude tests, basic maths and English. Short one-on-one interview with a friendly staff member. Ended with a practice letter we had to write to a customer. At the end JSA an umbrella company will approach you about getting paid from them. Don't. Get yourself an accountant and set up a limited company - it is a lot easier than it sounds! And saves you lots of money.

    Interview

Telephone interview which went badly wrong, I more than qualify for the job I wanted so badly to work for them as money was attractive, But I felt the interviewer didn't believe my last role it was more personal than professional,I was on the phone with recruiter for about 10 minutes. Next time perhaps I will prepare myself better but you can never tell what they will ask you plus I just had finished my temp job night shift I should have not pick up the call

    Interview

Easy interview, just asked few question about myself and my cv. I was also asked if I knew anything about PPI... I felt they could have explained to us the job more into details maybe I wouldnt have taken the job. Dont get me wrong I saved a bit but the only issue is you should prepare yourself for mental abuse.

    Data Gatherer Interview

Anonymous Employee in Reading, England (UK)
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Huntswood (Reading, England (UK)) in May 2015.

    Interview

The interview was an absolute doddle. Seriously, the guy was selling the job to me, not the other way around! Then we were asked to do a very simple numeracy and literacy test, along with typing a formal letter. It was so easy that I did think it was a bit strange that such a well paying job was so accessible? I'd worked in data previously, but there really weren't any questions about data. I kept waiting for my interviewer to ask and it never came up! I now realise that it is because they are having trouble finding/keeping staff because the job is such a mess.

    Interview Questions

    • Tell us a little bit about yourself?   1 Answer

    Negotiation

There really wasn't a negotiation because the wadge is so good! Now I would demand a hell of a lot more, because of the hours I'm putting in and the pressure is horrible.
