I applied online. I interviewed at IBM (Austin, TX)
Interview
The interview process was easy and convenient. They worked with my hectic schedule, which I greatly appreciate. I started off with a screening, an in-person interview and two calls with a team member and a recruiter. Everyone made great conversation and I enjoyed the interview process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to describe my role and processes on various projects in my portfolio.
The selection process includes three stages: a portfolio review to assess the candidate's work, followed by a situational test evaluating problem-solving and practical skills. Successful candidates proceed to an interview focusing on experience and suitability. The final HR round covers employment terms and cultural fit before extending an offer.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Cochin)
Interview
It wasn’t great, they took the interview and it was okay. Mine went really well but they still didn’t select me. It was left open ended and I wasn’t satisfied
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at IBM (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview process took two months from the day I applied to the day I received the final decision on my application. It was quite a long time. The recruiter screening and interview were scheduled quickly, within about a week. During the interview, everyone was really nice and friendly. Afterward, I felt confident, but I had to wait for a month or even longer. Unfortunately, I eventually received a rather generic email: “Unfortunately, we moved forward with another candidate.”

Question 1
They asked about the application I was presenting in more detail, including benchmarks. Specifically, they wanted to know whether I had used their competitors as a benchmark or compared it with services from another field.
