It was fare, the interviewer guided on a lot of topics making the experience good. It was a well structures interview and the panel gave me ample time to answer all the questions.

I was transitioning from Verizon, who sold part of its business to IBM. The onboarding process did not include the formal job interview process. Verizon employees were oriented by IBM in regards the legal requirements and documentation to provide.

After being referred for a management position and submitted my application it took IBM 20 days to call me for an interview. Was on location 30 minutes earlier and 15 minutes earlier at the reception desk. No one to meet me, reception was closed. Interviewing manager showed up 10 minutes after the agreed start hour. Interview was pleasant, very polite, in a very good and professional manner. Was promised to receive feedback in 3 days by the interviewing manager. On the next day colleague who referred me, called me to inform me I will be asked to appear for second interview in no longer than 3 days. No follow up call from HR department. Got automatically generated refusal two weeks later. No trace of the promised feedback. Very unprofessional considering the high profile position I was applying for.
