IFG Companies interview questions

interviewee was late and did not have good internet connection. Asked a some questions that wasn't in the job description. One of the questions I asked if she could phrase another way because my current job calls it different she just said "no". Also asked me to list the top 5 losses in the past 5 years, the examples she gave were all from the past few weeks

I was not selected to interview but my main concern is that this company wanted my social security number as part of the application. How can they guarantee the security of my personal data which is not relevant for an interview? Why would this specialty insurance company want the responsibility of such personal and protected candidate data? Hope they identified qualified HR candidates to fix this
