I applied online. I interviewed at IKEA (Mississauga, ON) in Apr 2019
Interview
it was a group interview, we were about 25 applicants and 5 interviewer comprising HR personnel and the HR managers and Warehouse manager. we were asked to introduce ourselves, first name, experience, why you want to work with IKEA, any one interesting thing about yourself, afterwards were divided into a group of four applicants to one interviewer. it was not the best of interview process i have attended, for instance, when they ask the first applicant question, he gives his answer, one or two other applicants copies his answer or modifies it a little.
Two interviews: one with HR to check if your values align with theirs, and a second one with the hiring manager. Both included typical interview questions, but the one with the hiring manager asked more questions on how you are at work and whether you fit the criteria of what they're looking for.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at IKEA (Perryville, MD) in Apr 2025
Interview
My interview process was very relaxed and informative. All of my questions were answered before I had time to ask them. The people were very relatable and courteous. The online document part was a bit daunting but everything else was smooth sailing.

Interview
It was a great experience. The gentleman that interview me was very respectful, transparent, and patient. After a few reschedules by both my end and the company, he made sure that i didn't have to come again for a 4th time. He made this a very easy and pleasant experience
