I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Infosys (Bengaluru) in Aug 2017
Interview
I tried for Infosys via a recruiting firm. The selection process was done via a call/telephonic(both the rounds). However, I could not get pass through the second round, due to communucation issues. It was a learning experience for me and I shall definitely take it positively.
The first round was taken by a guy and he was really friendly. However, I have a serious problem with the woman who took the second round. First of all, she was really slow, and secondly, she was rude as hell. We spoke for nearly 15-20 mintues over the phone. At one point, she asked when I finished my graduation and I answered "2012".. aftr that, I continued to say that I had also done masters degree as well(in case if she was wondering what I'd done aftr my graduation ). Then she just stopped me and told me to "answer only what was being asked"? Really?... I have no idea what went wrong or was bad in giving extra info.
At the end, she rejected me saying, its due to communication problem...🤔. M not sure, but I heard some people say that Infosys usually hire only graduates for CSA profile, not a post - graduate. So!!if it's cz of that, why was it so difficult for them to tell me that they dont hire PG guys in the first place?? Would have saved us both the time/trouble.
