Branch: Computer Engineering (B.E.) Date: October 2020 How I got an interview call? I participated in Hackwithinfy contest without knowing that I might get a job opportunity at Infosys. I didn't clear round 2 but I got a surprise email from Infosys that I was one of the top performers of round 2 and I have shortlisted for a Pre Placement Interview for SES Role (5 LPA). I was very happy as I didn't expect any of that before. And so, I got another email regarding an interview briefing session in which we were informed the company and the SES Role and many other things. After that we had to submit a form which consisted of our educational background, personal details, etc just like other companies do. And 2 months later, I got an email regarding the interview date just 2 days before the interview. The Interview It was held on Infosys Meridian Platform. The problem with that platform is that it doesn't have a queue. It won't let you in if the interviewer won't start the session. So, because of this, I had to keep pressing the join button for 7 mins and I sweated a lot out of fear. After the interview started, I was asked "Tell me about yourself" and then he asked me about my projects. Later he asked me to rate my expertise in Python, Java, C and C++ out of 10. I rated myself 7.5, 4, 4, 3 respectively and so he started asking questions on Python. They were very basic questions like List vs Tuple, what is a dictionary, etc Then he asked about Cloud Computing and AR.

The HackWithInfy interview process begins with two coding rounds, followed by technical and sometimes HR interviews, depending on your performance: Round 1: An online coding test on HackerEarth with three problems—easy (arrays), medium (strings), and hard (graphs)—to be solved in 3 hours. Round 2: Another coding round with higher difficulty.
