I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Intel Corporation in Mar 2012
Interview
It was bascially two part interview for me one was a 1:1 with the team manager it was bascially about my studies , Internship, Projects and skills which lasted for about 45 Mins.
Then they had a technical round with two members of the team. It was one of the most diverse interview i have ever faced . it Included : -
1. Presentation of 3 projects done during my internship and a barrage of questions during the same
2. giving output of a C,Perl and some java snippets. Easy but confusing.
3. Was asked question related to C,C++,Javav, Perl, PHP, C# and SQL
The two guys were very friendly and cheerful due to which the interview went well. I was informed the next day by manager that he was interested in me but did not confirm finally a offer was made 25 days later . I accepted the same and joined a month later.
I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Santa Clara, CA)
Interview
Questions on physical design concepts , syn and apr
Sta questions about constraints
Concepts of transistor physics
Phone screen, multiple round, followed by conversation with the hiring manager
Overall good experience
Five engineers, a manager and director asked medium level engineering and architecture questions including proof of structured coding and design skills. Each interviewer had varying questions. They rated at 0 (won’t work with candidate), 1 (adequate) or 2 (exceptional hire) for a team survey of votes to compare multiple candidates.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Design a state machine to control a four way intersection of varying time traffic lights.
long but effective. 4 rounds of interviews ( quiz questions, computer architecture, past projects, leadership experience, basic algorithm questions, coding, etc.) each last 40 min. results came back after 10 days
