I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Intel Corporation in Jan 2016
Interview
Received call for phone screen in december. Lasted for 15 min and received email for onsite next day. Due to Christmas, scheduled call in Jan (I think in mean time, they found someone else!). Interview day was full of silly questions. One interviewer even asked me to draw architecture of system I was working on during internship at other company!! Another interviewer asked me, why I didn't apply to other Intel site? and rest were behavioral questions..tell me what would you do in this or that..In the end told me this job requires creativity and imagination, while telling this interviewer was yelling !!! Next day received email of reject.
Interview was straight forward embedded questions . Covered 5 technical rounds. 2 - 1 hour and 3 half an hour .Covered basics of embedded C, memory management, code DMA driver, Implement malloc, implement an atoi function. Bit manipulation, reverse bytes in a word.
I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Oregon City, OR)
Interview
Three rounds. One general interview with questions to the CV and two technical with different engineers that asked technical questions. Overall fair and appropriate interview. Also team has been introduced I would work with.
I recently went through the Intel interview process, and it was quite structured yet rigorous. It all started with an online application where I submitted my resume and answered some basic screening questions about my background and experience. A few days later, I received an email from a recruiter scheduling an initial phone screen, which was mostly about my resume, skills, and why I wanted to work at Intel.
