I feel it as my professional duty to leave a review based off my experiences.
I initially went through 3 rounds of interviews in December of 2024. I was told I was the top candidate, but they had to pause hiring and would be contacting me in q2. I moved on and then, out of the blue nearly 10 months later, they contact me again about the same position. Of course, I accepted due to a positive experience the first time around.
This time, I met with the same people I met with last time. They praised me once again and asked what I had been up to, but then that's where it fell apart. They only asked me one question: When can you start? The one person tells me they have a "ton of resumes" but they'd get back to me. Two days later I get told they hired someone else. Wow.
Overall, the entire thing felt disingenuous and crummy. I was fine not getting the job and, after being unemployed 8 months, am fine getting told "no", but I felt like this was a special case. They said I was the top candidate, randomly paused hiring, emailed me again 10 months later to setup of waste-of-my-time interview, tell me they have what I assumed to be at least a week's worth of resumes, and then 2 days later I get an email telling me they moved on. Nothing about "we may contact you again!"....nothing.
I don't usually leave reviews, but again, I felt tossed around during this entire process and it's interviews like these that make you lose faith in not only the process, but the people too. I told a former colleague about the interview, and they informed me the company has suffered over the last year from poor decisions so that made me feel better. For me, not getting the role wasn't the biggest deal, even though I was extremely interested in the position. No, the issue was how it was handled. Just cruel.
I would truly urge anyone reading this to consider my post. Intelichart seems so dysfunctional in their hiring process that I could see them pulling an offer right before the start date. I hope this review helps someone in the future make a decision before they do. It may save your career.
