Very short and smooth but intense, the group debate exercise was unclear on how it was being assessed as it relied on not only your debate team but also the opposition being competent enough to have a structured debate

Contained a group debate exercise and a partner interview
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Jones Day (London, England) in Jan 2025
Interview
Starts with a 15-minute meeting with a trainee, providing the opportunity to ask questions and gain more insight before the real interview
Then goes into an interview with 2 lawyers, partner and associate, who will then ask questions for around 45 minutes, then at the end you have an opportuntiy to ask questions
