I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at KPMG (Melville, NY) in Nov 2014
Interview
Was recruited through college campus. Had one interview with a recruiter from the office. Standard interview questions. One month later, was called for a second interview. Typical interview questions. One month later was called in for an Inside Look day with about 30 other candidates. Was given an opportunity to learn about the company and ask questions. Was taken to lunch. Had a final interview at the end of the day. Gave an offer a day later.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at KPMG (Singapore)
Interview
After submitting my CV, there was a virtual interview and they asked a market sizing question + why I wanted to join the specific department. They also asked about stuff in my CV and it was overall pretty manageable, they don't expect you to know much as an intern.
It was an hour long with 2 hiring manager and HR. Whole process was like one round to offer. This spanned around 2 weeks in total from HR reach out to offer letter.
The interview process at KPMG was straightforward but rigorous. I completed an online assessment, followed by a video interview, and then a panel interview with case questions. The team was professional, and the timeline was reasonable, taking about a month from application to offer.
