Thirty minute phone interview with hiring manager. Given a data exercise to complete. Was then brought in for an 1 hour long interview where I presented findings from data exercise to a group of people (4). Ended up getting a verbal offer from HR at the end of 2018. During negotiation there was a holiday break where hiring manager and other leaders where out of office. Soon after the new year (2019), I followed up with HR and they explained the company ended up rescinding the offer due to budget issues that put a freeze on all hiring. Thankful I didn’t not put in my notice with my employer. It definitely changed my perspective on the company.
