It took about a month after I applied to hear back.
I had a phone interview several days later, followed by a 2-person interview at Kaiser with the hiring manager and project manager. A week and a half later, this was followed by a panel interview of the hiring manager and team (total of 6 people); the interview consisted of Q&A by the panel, a 10-minute presentation on PowerPoint (any topic you want), and a chance to ask the panel any questions.
This was followed by a reference check the next day and they contacted all of them just several days later. I followed up a week after to check-in and I was told from the hiring manager I would hear back from recruiting about final decisions. My understanding was there was 4 final applicants for 2 open positions.
The day after they checked my references, I saw that on my KPcareers application that ‘I was no longer in consideration for this position’
I’m certain I had great reviews from previous colleagues.
Despite seeing that I did email the hiring manager once more to ensure that this was the ultimate decision; finding out through a status update on their site :/ and have yet to hear back.
I’m assuming I didn’t get selected for the position which is unfortunate. What really is upsetting is the status update on the KPcareers page is how I’m finding out that I am being rejected after all this time and effort.
You figured their system could at least send out an automated email to candidates who’ve gone through to the end of the process. I mean, your careers page notifies me immediately of any openings that I have on my filter.
This is still somewhat an open door, apparently Kaiser is notoriously late with getting back but I’m not getting my hopes up.
