I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kareo (Irvine, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
After applying online, the follow up to schedule a phone screen interview happened within the week. I enjoyed the phone screen interview with the Gretchen, the Talent Acquisition Specialist - she was easy to converse with and offered helpful background on the company, its direction, the culture, and the position's manager and team. Gretchen gives a phenomenal first impression of the company, and is always available and helpful.
The telephone interview with the manager took place the following day - and she was also enjoyable and professional. Then an in-person group interview was scheduled and I was asked to bring a portfolio or samples of my work. The group interview was split into four 30 minute interviews with various people. So I interviewed with no more than 3 people at a time. The team members asked the most specific questions, but also wanted to know what I enjoy for fun. They wanted to ensure I would be the right fit for a team of all ladies, who are hard-working, friendly, and love to throw celebrations for one another. They also explained that with the upcoming product launch, this position would need to begin producing training videos from day one, and wait for a fuller onboarding/training at a later time.
After interviews, I provided 3 references and all 3 were contacted by the hiring manager. Then an offer was extended.
Overall I was impressed with the breadth and speed of the interview process. They asked the right questions and provided me with a solid understanding of the role and the team. Working at Kareo for several months now, the experience has matched my earlier expectations.
I am glad you had such a positive experience. The Talent Acquisition Team works very hard to ensure everyone has a great experience - from resume submission to hiring.

Interview
Contacted within 2 days by email notifying me of rejection. At least they were timely in their response. I wrote a follow-up question to the recruiter directly in response to my rejection but never heard back.
