Kickstarter interview questions

I had a great experience interviewing with Kickstarter. The recruiter I worked with was wonderful - informative, affable, responsive, and never pushy. As for the interviews, I really enjoyed the take-home project as opposed to trite leetcode questions, and the on-site consisted of several rounds of behavioral questions with various employees from the company. Everyone I interviewed with was thoughtful and engaged. I decided to accept another offer in the end but the whole process left me with a positive impression of the company.

The interview process began with a quick written exercise called "Why Kickstarter?" which covered the motivation to want to work with the company. That was followed by a ~45 minute phone interview. The next step was a more thorough, five question written questionnaire, specifically tailored to the role. The final step was a full day of meetings with the Heads of each product category at Kickstarter HQ. This was a bit grueling as they all took place in the same room and all were in depth conversations.
