Interview
I first interviewed with the "Softlines" manager and after I met with the Human Resources manager. Both interviews were easy, they asked about how I'd balance the job and school and how many days I would like to work. They seemed pretty transparent with how it is to work there and assured me that it would be a good atmosphere overall.

Interview
When I walked in, the human resources manager said, "hey, how are you and you're early." I said I'm sorry, and then she said. "no I love that." It was the best and simplest interview I have ever had. She asked me about my last employer and responsibilities. After I discussed my last employer and responsibilities, she was like great we do exactly the same here given that my last employer was Wal-Mart, so very similar. She loved me and then I went into another room and interviewed with apparel's manager. We talked about availability and asked when could I start, and I replied now. She smiled and said welcome to Kmart. I left the interview and went straight to Conyers and took my drug test. Just patiently waiting.

Interview
I applied online and received a call back 3-4 days later to come in for an interview later that week. I arrived ten minutes early and waited near the Service Desk for the HR Manager to meet with me. She led me into her office and asked me questions from a sheet of paper in front of her. I had prepared for the interview beforehand using Glassdoor, so I had an answer for every question she asked. Afterwards, she brought in the Assistant Manager, who asked me a few questions about my availability and work history. I was hired on the spot, and they said after the background check and paperwork went through, they would contact me with my schedule.
