I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kohl's (College Station, TX) in Feb 2020
Interview
The 2 Director's interviewing me were so engaged and kind! It didn't feel like an interview in a way, it was a 2 way conversation! There was 2 rounds to the interview, for the first part it was a more easy going interview for the second round it was with 2 directors and it was first with one director and then it was with another director.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
basic interview questions such as:
Strengths, weaknesses, tell me about yourself, etc.
It was very straightforward and easy to navigate. I was able to answer most of the questions with answers I had prepared for other non-internship job interviews before this. I would say I prepared an normal amount of time and was able to get an offer

I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's in Apr 2024
Interview
It was alright, the interviewer was very cold. No introduction, just straight to the point. just be ready to talk a lot and be stared at. I literally felt like I was being questioned for something else
normally pretty easy, best to try to be friendly and make sure know about kohls values. also having a friendly appearance helps. they look for genuine people— not basic answers and over rehearsed answers
