I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kroger (Louisville, KY) in Nov 2015
Interview
The interview was genuinely relaxed and a bit informal. It was easy to speak with the store manager there. He began with the usual questions like "So we have a higher volume of clientel... How do you think you can operate the meat department effecively during prime time?" or "What is your preferred managements style and have you found it to be effective and how.". From there it was a tour of the business and idle chatter. Everything seemed like a getting to know you game rather than an interview. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kroger in Dec 2011
