      Junior Field Support Engineer Interview

      Aug 2, 2014
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Leidos in Jul 2014

      Interview

First applied for a regular position, not Junior Field Support Engineer, maybe it was the senior one. This was located in a foreign country where I am currently living. Was contacted by a recruiter that sent me an email with five questions. They were about the position location was it a suitable living location, how soon I could start if I were selected for the position, why I had applied for the position, wheter or not I had Security +, and my annual salary requirements. After submitting that response, I waited about 5 days then I contacted the recruiter who said it had been filled and refered me to his teammate recruiter for another position on the same camp that was a junior position. I submitted, and received about two days later a similar 5 question email. These emails must be sent to the hiring manager to determine who get talked to. About five days later after that correspondence, I receive a message from someone working on that camp. E contacted me, and we set up a very informal chat. It did not even feel like an interview. Moreover, the only interview feeling question was where I thought I would fit that position If I were offered it. Id says it went well, I am now in a holding pattern waiting for an update.
