I had a really bad experience with Liberty Mutual. The first round consisted of 2 45 minute interviews, case and behavioral. I thought the case went really well and the interviewer said "good" like 10 times. We ended up going over to about an hour. The case employed exhibits that I did not have access to on my laptop. It was extremely annoying to have to direct the interviewer to flip through the various slides each time I wanted to reference them. They should have sent them to me directly before the interview. I felt a little more lukewarm toward the behavioral interview. I think I answered the questions well, but I don't think I was able to connect well with the interviewer on a personal level. Anyway, a few days later I'm told I won't be moving forward. I have no clue as to why. If I had to wager a guess, it's possible that my inability to click with the behavioral interviewer could be a potential reason. A recruiter that I never spoke to sent me a form rejection letter. I feel like a great deal of my time, almost 2 hours to be exact, was completely wasted. At this stage in my career, I'm very comfortable with case interviews and quite adept at them, and with the interviewer giving me good feedback throughout, it just doesn't make sense.
