      Interview

Very fair and balanced with an engaging pace and process. Different interviewers for each stage without access to previously submitted notes from prior interviewer. Clear communication about each stage and status; what’s next.

      Interview

Absolutely terrible and Impossible to succeed. Unless you’re a robot, or you know the exact pain points, goals, and objectives of a Life Lab Program Consultant day in, day out, you’ll never be fully prepared to answer any of these behavioral questions. Interviewers were extremely scripted and not engaging at all with me. It was hard to feel any confidence or encouragement whatsoever. I don't agree at all with the behavioral interview that LifeLabs has in place. I studied for DAYS for this interview, creating every possible scenario in the book, and still got blindsided by their questions because the non-value based questions were clearly focused on situations they are currently experiencing/ anticipating.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we truly appreciate the effort you put into preparing for your interview with us! Our behavioral interview process is designed not to seek perfection, but to get a sense of each candidate's unique consultative style and how they have approached real-life scenarios throughout their careers. This helps us ensure the role is a fit both for the candidate and for us. At LifeLabs, we believe in our structured, scripted interview process, where all candidates are asked the same questions in the same order. This approach helps us reduce bias and ensure fairness across the board, even though we understand it may not be as common. That said, we always aim for our interviewers to be warm and engaging, and we ensure time is left at the end of each interview for an open Q&A to give candidates the opportunity to ask questions and further connect.

      Application

      Interview

The application starts with three prompts, which ask you to complete the questions in under 400 words. 1. What drew you to the Program Consultant role at LifeLabs and how do your skills and experiences align with this role? (400 words max) 2. Please share a time when you had to meet or exceed specific sales targets. How did you approach the challenge, and what strategies did you use to achieve your goals? (400 words max) 3. Tell us about how you typically manage your client relationships. How do you prioritize different clients and ensure you're meeting their needs while driving sales?(400 words max) --- This essential gives them a writing sample. *400 words max* makes you feel as if the longer, the better, and that is roughly 1-page response. If you get past this point, your immediate next step is a mock Discovery call, which you must obviously prepare for. After the mock discovery call, you are asked to send a follow-up email within 24hrs(second writing sample). During the mock discovery, you are scored on product knowledge, without ever being able to speak to someone in the role or potential manager. Essentially, you are spending 5-10 hours before you even get to ask a single question about the company. What are prospecting expectations? Is this an inbound or outbound role? What is the company culture, why is the position open, or what compensation/benefits? It is a one-way interview process. So, you are applying for a job that you have committed a ton of time to and only have information about a mock discovery call. The interviewer has never seen your resume and knows nothing about you. They believe this makes it non-biased.

You join the call, and they ask if you are ready for the mock discovery call?

Thank you for taking the time to participate in our interview process and leave feedback about your experience. We understand the time and effort candidates put into each step, and we appreciate your commitment. At LifeLabs, we have a very intentional interview process that, while intensive, is designed to reduce bias and ensure a fair assessment for all candidates. We are actively working to add more elements, including more frequent touch points throughout the process, to improve communication and candidate experience. If candidates have any questions or concerns during the process, we provide direct access to our hiring team and encourage them to reach out at any time.

      Interview

Creating a video for a pre interview is interesting because it can only be 3 minutes, it forces you to understand your thoughts and the message you want to convene. The virtual interviews were roll playing which I found to be refreshing since a current employee should have a good understanding of their customers and how you'd interact with them.
