Interview
Initially, my experience was positive. I quickly got an interview invitation, and the interviewers were welcoming. However, my experience went downhill because of communication problems. The company emphasizes fairness, respecting candidates' time, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Sadly, my experience didn't match these values. After my second interview, I was promised a response within a week, but this deadline passed without any communication. In total, I reached out three times to ask about my application status. They told me I'd hear back within one more week because they needed more time to pick the best candidate. But even after this extra time passed, three weeks later, the company still didn't get in touch. While I understand that hiring can be complicated, being open and respecting candidates' time is essential. Just a simple update about the delay would have been nice. I was a bit disappointed to find out, after all those follow-ups, that they chose someone from within the company for the entry-level job. I want to highlight that my interactions with the talent acquisition manager were pleasant. However, it seems like there might be problems with how things are organized at a higher level. The communication and decision-making process didn't seem very well coordinated. I try to give companies the benefit of the doubt, but this experience made me question if the company really stands by its stated values.

We understand that a slow interview process can be frustrating and in your case there was a significant delay in conveying the final outcome. We do our best to make sure our process is quick and efficient, and if there are delays we try to communicate ahead to the candidates. It seems that this was not the case during your interview process.

Pretty slow in their responses and had to ask for follow ups but they were friendly. They did a first call with me which was very open and gives a lot of hope but leaves you hanging afterwards.
