      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at LiveRamp (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2018

      Interview

Process: 1) Phone screen with recruiter 2) Phone interview with senior manager 3) Take home project 4) Onsite interview and presentation with 6 people, title ranging from Product Operations Manager, Partner Manager, Director, and Software Engineer. 5) Culture Interview with a Product Manager Pros: 1) Interview felt like a conversation. I learned just as much about the company as they learned about me. 2) Take home project was difficult so I felt challenged and accomplished after finishing. 3) Starbucks gift card before onsite interview was a nice gesture. Cons: 1) Could have been organized better. I had to communicate with 2 coordinators and 2 recruiters which was kind of frustrating. 2) The process was pretty long. Took almost 2 months to finish.

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LiveRamp (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

Quick turnaround for interview process and they're very communicative. The overall experience was negative for me personally. The questions were hard and not reflective of finding a good culture fit or personality when they don't take time to get to know a candidate.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Why are you interested and how will you be a good fit for this role? Tell me a time where you have been analytical or worked on an analytical project?

      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at LiveRamp (New York, NY)

      Interview

I was approached by the recruiter and then went through an initial round of phone interview with the recruiter. It was a great conversation and I believed that I was a perfect fit for the role. The next round of interview was with a product operations manager, where she asked situational questions and logic based challenge questions. Then , the recruiter sent me a presentation prompt for an API programming challenge to create a product, for which I had to write code as well as prepare a presentation in a week. The recruiter liked my work and I was called onsite for an interview. I must say this was the most challenging part of the interview and I was very proud of myself to work successfully on this challenge The onsite interview consisted of 6 back to back interviews, 5 of them behavioral/ resume based, and one of it was the presentation of my product. People are very nice at LiveRamp, and I thought my interviews went very well but the next day the recruiter called and said that I wasn’t chosen for the role as I didn’t come across as very creative. I have absolutely nothing against the recruiting process and probably they were looking for a better suited person for the role. Although I never got selected, I think this interview was definitely one of the most challenging interview processes I have been through.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at LiveRamp

      Interview

They do one or two over the phone interviews and then bring you in a few in person. They also mentioned there would be a presentation you need to give to the team.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

You will receive questions like if there's 800k people in SF. How many ATMs do you think there are? Provide a number. These types of questions are ridiculous and not typically used anymore in the industry. Especially if your way of working out the problem does not satisfy what they expect. As if there's one correct way to answer and if you don't get it right then you fail.
