After sending off my application and doing online tests, I was invited to a video interview. Can't remember the exact questions but they revolve around your motivation for joining Lloyds, and also some strengths questions such as how you build trusting relationships and how important is ethical behaviour in the workplace. The best advice I could give for the interview is to prepare and practice anticipated questions, recording yourself on your webcam so you get used to it, also use the practice questions at the beginning of the interview, they help you settle into it, as it is a bit of a weird experience!
I was then invited to an innovation lab, this was a half day session and consisted of a written exercise, interview, group exercise and a presentation that you are asked to prepare before the day. I actually found the day quite enjoyable once the initial nerves had calmed down, there was a graduate already on the scheme who was there to answer any questions, and all the assessors were very friendly. The interview further explores your motivation for lloyds and your knowledge of the industry, as well as some more strength based questions. The whole day is basically tailored towards how lloyds can be the best bank for customers, and as long as you prepare well you will be absolutely fine! I received my offer 6 working days after my innovation lab, looking at other peoples experiences I was expecting to hear back within about 3 days if I had been successful, so I had lost hope a bit, but obviously that is not the case so don't panic if you don't hear back for a while!
