Interview
The interviewing process for a co-op/internship is relatively simple. HR will be on top of the ball: they will contact you with various time slots and will schedule it for you. There will be various security protocols you will have to follow. I heavily researched the company and its Communications branch. The interview is rather laid back: it will most likely be a panel interview, but the conversation will be pretty casual. The office culture can seem stiff at first until you dive deep into what drives your coworkers.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Philadelphia, PA) in Dec 2019
Interview
A panel interview with the Communications team that involved basic questions, providing writing samples, and a tour of the Communications space. I had to wait about a month before I heard back from the manager. Communication from HR was lackluster and I had to repeatedly reach out to receive any information regarding both the interview and hiring process.
