Start with a recruiter call just want to make sure if your skillset and experiences align. She stated this role for a new team, therefore my skill might be 100% applicable to them. So she will ask the hiring manager and then a few days later comes an email that they will move forward with the next round of interviews.
1st round with QA Manager, I think it went well, and personally, I like to work with him. The coding challenge is pretty simple and straightforward.
a week later here comes 2nd round with an engineer with API code and test challenges. The API seems pretty neat and quite challenging how to test but I would say it should be a simple test with the spec. Continue to the 3rd round with an SDET which is more like a culture fit and behavior interview.
Overall I enjoyed the interview with a little bit of delay here and there during the scheduling. The minus part is I don't get any feedback or rejection email or phone call at all. I guess the company does not value people's time, after spending time ~ 3hours for interviews.
