This was a specialty high skilled position in which the lab coordinator title is given and adjusted for a job in which the person who fills it won't take it unless the pay is there. For reference, this is a lab/research position. Interview lasted from early morning to very late in the evening. Had 30 minute interviews with faculty/lab members. One of these interviews was with a highly emotional confrontational person who was irritated with my would be boss, and afraid that I would encroach on their territory. This person was not mistaken in their fears.
