Interview
Had my resume reviewed and a short interview with HR personnel.
Was asked to disclose if i was interviewing with other companies and told if I was I would not be considered for this job.
Interview structure was ordered as follows.
- Talk about your projects and experience, starting from today and working backwards
- Linux knowledge wasn't particularly stressed in the posting but was asked basic linux questions
- Discuss design concepts and strategies used in previous projects.
- No previous work experience is fine so long as you have projects to talk about from school or on your own.
Interview with the engineering row / group leader. This is to attempt to find out if you would be a good fit for the company. Questions can be seen below.

Question 1
- Will ask you about your projects
- Will ask you about previous work experience, including in unrelated fields.
- Will ask you about your long-term goals in the company. They are looking for people who want to challenge themselves, improve their abilities and will stick around for a couple years.
- Will ask you about previous leadership experience. will want specifics here (project background, how you led, the result)
- Expect a series of simple questions around C/C++. very basic heap / stack questions. May have questions on C++14 only material but getting these right are not particularly critical
- May ask questions specific to your background as well.

Interview
First step was a 15-min call with a person who seemed to be in HR. Asked about whether I'm eligible to work in the country, whether I'm ok with the location and format of work, discussed starting salaries. Got an invite to an hour-long video interview with the engineering team.

It was a phone interview. She was polite and professional. Asked the questions pretty straight forward. She talked about the company and the position and asked general questions. k k

Online assessment then 1 hour panel interview asking questions about resume programming languages and then coding test that isn't normally hard just know OOP and know your resume inside out, everything you ask will be asked about in depth
