I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Macy's in Feb 2011
Interview
Between the initial phone interviews and the final day in NYC, it took a couple weeks. The last group interview being the toughest. We were given a business case to work in a group. We had to come up with answers and present the results. Felt like being on the Apprentice. We also had a retail math test and 2 interviews. I believe the day started at 8 and was done at 3.

Question 1
The case study was an opportunity to show your teamwork and leadership ability. Interviewers did not care if you had the correct numbers because you will learn them in training. They wanted to see how you interacted with others and your thought process
I had 4 Phone Interviews with Macy's and took a critical thinking online test. Questions were straight-forward and simple. Interviewers were friendly and the rapport was relaxed. Recruiting team was very professional and followed-up in a timely fashion.
