I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Macy's
Interview
The interview process consisted of a few behavioral interviews done by hiring managers in the .com and brick-and-mortar fields. It was not too difficult, but they clearly were looking for "fashion forward" candidates who were knowledgeable in the fashion/trend industry.
Interviewed over video. Interviewer was extremely late and very unprepared. Even though she had set up the interview, she was asking me about a completely different job. It left a very bad taste in my mouth. I removed myself from further consideration.
I applied online. I interviewed at Macy's (New York, NY) in Oct 2022
Interview
Three separate interviews, all very generalized questions but no real details on day to day expectations. Seemed very desperate to build a team fast with not a lot of room to negotiate salary
HR seemed bothered by the fact they set up a call with me and had zero interest being on the call. At that point, I had zero interest anymore for going further.
