I interviewed at Macy's on a Saturday. I sat in the waiting room until they finally got to me and went to the back with my interviewer. She was very nice and complimented me on the coat I had on. She began the interview and asked me questions while writing down her responses on the packet she had with her. I was asked questions such as why Macy's?, describe a time when you dealt with a specific situation, about working with electronic devices, and about my availability. In the end, my interviewer told me that I should receive a phone call the week after my interview but I did not receive a phone call or email to tell me the outcome. Overall, it was a great experience because it was my first time going on an actual job interview.

Interview
I applied online and four hours later I was sent an email saying that they wanted to interview me. A second email came and instructed me to click a link to schedule my own interview, the next morning I went in 15 minutes early dressed in black pumps, grey dress pants and a black sweater. I was the only person their, one of the employees interviewed me one-on-one, she only asked five questions, I was back in my car by 12:22 pm, my interview was at 12:15 pm. My interviewer was friendly and maintained direct eye contact, which was a little scary. I was completely honest with my answers and I think I did a good job. My interviewer did say that I was a great candidate for the position, and she went to talk to her manager but she had left for her lunch break. So now i'm waiting on the hiring manager for contact, with my fingers crossed.
