Interview
The initial communication was through Macy's job board web site. I applied for the position online and got an email back to schedule an interview within the week. You don't call the store to check up on the process, they request that you don't. I went to my interview with resume in hand. The manager said the position I had applied for had been filled and asked if there was any other department I would be willing to work in. I said women's shoes as one of the options, went for that interview an hour later (he gave me the option to stay or come back later). I was hired on the spot for a seasonal on call and later was hired for a permanent part time.

Question 1
There were no difficult questions. It was all based on practical real life experience about handling neatness, time management, customer relations and dealing with theft situations.

Interview
literally I googled the interview and I was asked all the same questions for a sales associate. I was 5 minutes early and the manager met me with a smile. I gave him a firm handshake. I literally answered the questions on the spot , kept my cool, make eye contact frquently, exuded lots of confidence, and bagged the job. At the end of the interview he asked if I had any questions , I told him even if he didn't hire me I want to know how I did so that I can improve for future interviews. He said that I did very well. The job he had open for me was given to another person and he didn't know so he told me he will put me on the bench. Basically I am in line as soon as the next job opens. Two weeks later I got a call saying a position opened up and I am hired. I went to paid training the same week and started working the following week. Macy's pays you every week . Direct Deposit is the fastest way.

Interview
It was very easy and comfortable. I interviewed with a woman who was incredibly nice and genuine. I received an offer at the end of the interview and accepted it right away. More interviews should be like this.
