The interview with the person from tech made it clear that the company was trying to go all AI and needed someone to develop a pipeline since their pipeline "is 0 years old". This was not in the job description nor the phone call, where the HR implied they needed to onboard someone for a client who knew data and analytics especially from the business side. And they needed someone to train the entire team about CoPilot and lecture them.
