Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Marfeel (Barcelona (Spain)).

Interview

First there was a phone interview, regular call where they explain you about the company, and you speak a bit about yourself.
Then I was asked to resolve a technical exercise at home (long test, about 10h).
After they reviewed, I got called to go to the office to a face 2 face interview. There we discuss about my tests, I got some feedback and I was asked about why did I do the way I did it, it was nice to be able to explain myself. In that interview I also explained my CV, why I wanted a change, etc.

An HR recruiter contacted me 10 days after I applied through their referral program and we had the first interview by phone.
It a strange interview.
The recruiter was very quick and short and seemed uninterested. But thats ok.
The person asked a lot of specific/detailed questions about my previous employer (see below).
At some point I wasnt sure if they called me for me or to obtain information from my previous company.
In any case, the recruiter seemed pleased in the end, ending the conversation with: thank you very much, I will be in touch very soon with info on the next steps and next interviews.
One week later the same person sent me an automated email basically saying we werent going to do a second interview.
I dont mind not passing, it happens. I even dont mind the lack of information as to why, most wont these days.
But I do think they should try to be a little more undercover about their actual intentions and, if one hasnt passed the first interview, there is no need to end the conversation on a positive note. Were all professionals here.

I applied on the website and I have been contacted the day after.
I have been invited to do a phone interview. In the phone interview I have been asked about personal questions and my experience. It lasted about 30 minutes. After three days I did a second interview in which I had to ask questions. It lasted about 1 hour.
My job application has been declined one week after

Three interviews - Phone screening / HR / Sales manager
Talked to the HR assistant over the phone and then was tested on my language abilities.
The second interview was one with the HR Manager and we went over the same questions I had to answer during the phone screening.
The third interview was with the VP of Sales and answered the same questions as in the previous interviews. Later on in a different situation I received a call and we did a test on my ability to do a cold calling for selling.

In depth questions about B2B marketing experience, sales enablement and multi-channel marketing and tactics for different industries. As well as more personal questions and about my motivations. Also completed a marketing activity.

Very smooth process with the HR department and very quick with the follow up and next steps after accepting the offer. Extremely helpful and timely also with the documentation needed and travel (I was moving from abroad).

I received a call from the person in charge of HR. Relatively long call with a lot of very specific questions; good questions. After the call was finished, I was asked to attend a face-to-face interview that same week. Pleasantly surprised by the office, the size of the team and the lenght and depth of the interview.

Applied directly on the site. I received an email asking when we could chat on the phone (after mistakingly being rejected). Chatted for about ten minutes asking basic questions, and then was requested to complete a Javascript test. Sent back the test a couple days later. Was told that they needed someone more senior.

3 interviews in total. On of the interviewer was quite aggressive and impolite. One of the reasons I declined the offer they would make me is because of this attitude. Not constructive, nor positive. Other people met along the recruitment process were nice and professional, thought. I was given a easy google analytics an excel tests

Got a call from the HR person and talked about 10 minutes. Then they sent a javascript test and after completing it we did a personal interview. No technical questions were involved, they just asked about general work experience and personal questions. The interviewer was quite rude when I told them my salary expectations. After that I got a generic email telling that even though I had exceptional background and experience I wasn't the right fit for the company at that time.
