I applied online and soon thereafter received an email from the Hotel to complete an online assessment. After completing the HR Director emailed me the next day to set up an interview. Pretty straight foward interview. I did not meet with the Banquet Manager before being hired but he turned out to be a nice guy.

Straight forward and quick. The process is formal and informative. You speak with a recruiter and if you make it past this you meet with a supervisor. The overall process is easy and straightforward.

STAR / behavioral interview. Be prepared with examples to fit the STAR. Dress professionally. Interview was on site and very personable manager and HR. There is an assessment as part of the application process.
