I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mastercard (Atlanta, GA) in Sep 2016
Interview
Step 1: In-person Interview
Half technical and half behavioral interview. Really abstract coding problems. They are trying to test to see if you can take real world objects and create it into object-orientated programming.
Step 2: Another in-person interview
Mostly technical question. It was an algorithm question, and I did learn this, but I just forgot how to code it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Given an array of integers (not sorted), find the kth largest number. Make it O(n)
it was one technical interview, and then followed with one onsite (technical and behavioral). both technical interviews were oop type questions (not leetcode style). behavioral consisted of the standard questions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mastercard (New York, NY) in Nov 2022
Interview
Mastercard had two interviews that asked questions about how to test a webpage that they pulled up on a PowerPoint. Was a fine interview though the interviewer seemed to be looking for overly specific answers. Iw as asked the same question in both rounds which I thought was fairly odd.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mastercard in Sep 2021
Interview
Roughly 1 hour long online Pymetrics test where various personality traits were tested through games. Games tested things like memory, reaction time, ability to rapidly mash the spacebar, and eyesight.
