I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mastercard (New York, NY) in Sep 2021
Interview
It didn't even start. The recruiter contacted me through LinkedIn asking if I was interested in learning more about the aforementioned position. He never responded so I followed up a fee days later. He wrote me back with a last minute appointment for the next day at 11am. He wrote this late in the day yet I agreed. Next morning, he never confirmed appointment nor did he ever write me back. So a few days later I proposed he schedule a meeting a few days in advance confirming time and to let me know so I'll have time to get that time off of work. He literally ghosted me and it was HE that contacted me out of nowhere about the role. I didn't get the best impression from this experience so I dodged a bullet working for this disorganized company.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mastercard in Nov 2015
Interview
Fast. I had an initial phone screen. The following week I had 2 phone interviews with 2 of the Group Heads. During that week I also met face to face with one of the local Group Heads for coffee. It was a very relaxed casual meet up that eased my nerves. It was finally followed up with a phone interview with their HR Business Partner. I was offered the position shortly after.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mastercard (Purchase, NY) in Dec 2014
Interview
Received call saying the role was filled, but they had a new one that they thought I would be a good fit for. I said yes and they set up a phone screen, then came in and met Talent Aquistiion and 2 SVP's. Then was called back for a best and final - and received offer the next day!
