I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MathWorks (Cambridge, MA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Applied through university career fair. First interviewer asked behavioral questions. Like, why MathWorks? How do you manage time when you multitask? Tell me an example of a work conflict and how did you resolve it? Keep the answers concise and include personal details. The interviewer scheduled the next round for a technical interview immediately. Be sure of your availability beforehand, it helps.
In the technical round, the interviewer asked a lot of programming questions. Focus was on the languages I mentioned in the first round. Speed and accuracy are important I guess. Questions are alright and can be tackled if you prepare and brush up your basics.
Good luck!
There were three phases for recruiting procedures. The first stage was a brief and relaxing conversation, the second stage was about technical things and hiring manager asked several questions in the third stage.
