I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Mattress Firm in Jul 2021
Interview
Pretty straightforward process. First spoke to a recruiter and then had two panel interviews. They asked lots of questions performance-based questions. Using the STAR method would be highly recommended. All in all it was a good experience.

Tell me about a time you had to roll out and support an unpopular initiative with your team.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mattress Firm (Milwaukee, WI) in Nov 2009
Interview
I attended a job fair in South Milwaukee, met a Mattress Firm recruiter who asked me some general "job fair" questions ("what are you looking for?", "What are your strengths?", "What do you think you can bring to a company?"). I was offered a panel-interview as soon as immediately following the fair.
The recruiter, the franchise owner, and two Serta executives made up the panel. The team seemed to have a general form that they all base-lined from. They each asked their own flavor of the typical interview questions: "Give us a situation where you needed to express leadership", "Tell us of a time when you worked on a team... what was your role?".
