I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at McDonald's (Las Vegas, NV) in Jul 2018
Interview
In my experience, the process was HORRIBLE. I was interviewed on July 11th, the hiring manager at that time interviewed me and told me that she will give me a call on the 13th BUT she never called me... I had to keep calling for at least 2-3 weeks. I would ask someone I knew who was currently working there at that time if it was possible to ask the hiring manager. And they told me that they needed someone who can work between 4pm-12am, and I was okay with that. And so I was waiting for a call the next day because they told they will. My hours were 5-11pm but they said again that they're looking for someone who can work 4-12am. I was fuming because they kept changing everything.
Very quick, not a ton of personal questions asked but they could tell most things from the resume. I needed a job quickly and they seemed interested in the same thing.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at McDonald's (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2022
Interview
Phone call interview - they just check how you communicate, your availability, basically if you can be patient and deal with guests as it is a fast pace environment. They ask general questions like tell me about yourself, if you are available to work night shifts, how would you respond to a customer who is angry.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at McDonald's (Moreno Valley, CA) in Dec 2021
Interview
The Head managers were fine, the interview was relatively easy with basic questions about hobbies, other outside responsibilities, availablity, and past work experiences.
The problem was with a few of the other supervisors being disrespectful and lacking when it comes to teaching during training. Hostile work environment unfortunately.
