first I had a recruitment screener, then I had a team member interview. easy process for both. typical questions. nothing out of the ordinary. if you're interviewing for an analyst job, I wouldn't worry bout the process being too difficult.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about a time when I dealt with a difficult situation in the past.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Medallia in Sep 2016
Interview
I had a very similar negative experience like a couple of other reviewers who posted before me regarding GPA. Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter a week later to set up a phone call.
The phone call consisted of mostly generic personal questions. Why did you choose the college you went to? Challenges that you face in your job? Near the end of the call, he told me that I would be an excellent fit and that I'd likely be much more prepared than other candidates based on the conversation we had. I start feeling very optimistic.
He then asked about my college GPA. I told him what it was and he told me that it was on the lower end of what they expect candidates to have. GPA is a pretty meaningless metric for someone who is a few years out of college, but whatever, that's up to them to decide.
Next day, I received an automated rejection email from them saying they didn't see a good fit. So they basically wasted 2 weeks of my time because they didn't think my GPA was good enough when they could have asked in the job application instead of at the end. Folks, don't waste your time with Medallia.

Question 1
Why did you choose to go to the university you went to?
Was head-hunted by company. Interview was fairly casual with the standard questions asked.
2 separate interviewers - analyst & manager. I thought it all went well and they both seemed happy with me so I was a little surprised when the next day I was contacted by their hr dept saying they wouldn't be taking my candidature any further. No other feedback whatsoever was given.
