I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Meijer (Batavia, OH) in Feb 2019
Interview
In depth with situational questions. Was a short process that entailed 2 one on one interviews. Both asking different questions and very informative. Each from different levels of management. Seemed quite interested by their body language and details given in the interview. Pay, hours next steps, meeting with my night shift counterpart, noting it would be a while for the process which i was fine with. Less than 2 days later i get a call that they are going with someone else. Why waste the time to interview me.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Meijer in Dec 2022

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meijer (Manistee, MI) in Sep 2018
Interview
Applied online through the career opportunities portal and was interviewed within a few days. Outcome took about a month just to find out I didn't get the position. I was asked some basic questions about leadership, nothing special. Although this particular Meijer seems to prefer you to be a receiving dockmaster in order to receive a promotion as the now past 3 have all been promoted to something higher and ones in GM who have the experience did not receive an offer. But there is a lot of favoritism in this Meijer so don't expect to get promoted to anything special unless you really suck up to current management.
