Interview with supervisor, then self-paced phone interview. Seemed like the phone interview is a formality for hire because I received a call back for a job offer right after the phone interview.
- Why Mercy? What can you bring to the job that other candidates do not have?

As I recall, there was a relatively short phone interview, and then an in-person interview with the center director, which was rather formal in nature, along with a typing test.
- The interview questions were of the "Tell me about a time when you....." sort of questions. Right along the STAR format.

Took weeks to hear back on application before interview was scheduled. On arrival was not even interviewed for position applied for, was told that spot was filled but that they figured I would be fine to interview for a different position. Process was very disorganized and when I asked questions they dodged or gave very vague answers.
- Why I wanted to work there

I applied online. I interviewed at Mercy (Fort Smith, AR) in Jun 2023
The hiring manager preferred a conversational line of questioning. I appreciated that, but halfway through I felt a shift and no longer felt like I would be getting the job. That's fine, but it's been 2 months and there was never any communication saying I did not get the job despite my reaching out twice. I'd rather not be ghosted by a potential employer. They still have yet to find someone for the position because it keeps getting reposted so good luck.
- Tell me what you did at these jobs ..?

Nice facility with gym. Very nice manager that did interview process. Involved questions and typing test. It was a relaxed atmosphere and was not intimated. Very quiet as I believe many work from home.

I had a self paced phone interview and was disconnected several times bc I have a T-Mobile phone. It was incredibly frustrating. You had 24 hours to do the interview and I didn’t have time to locate a different phone.

You have to take an assessment test, which takes a few hours, and to be told thanks for applying without an interview offer—a waste of time. Never will I apply to this organization.
- 100 Question assessment and no interview offered. For just taking the test should automatically give you an interview. The test is toooooooooo long. 3 plus hours.
