    Sales Representative Interview

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Midwest Cellular (Maplewood, MN) in August 2014.

    Interview

The interview process is pretty standard. You show up and meet with a District Manager and are lead to a back room for the interview. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on how in depth you go with your answers to the questions. It also depends on if you ask the interviewer questions (which I recommend). Afterwards, you are told that they will further review your qualifications and resume. If you are what they are looking for, they will be in contact.

    Sales Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Hastings, MN
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Midwest Cellular (Hastings, MN) in September 2010.

    Interview

I was basically lied to. I interviewed in Stillater and was hired and placed in Hastings (30 miles difference) for trainng or so I was told. Turns out the District Manager that hired me lost Stillwater about the same time I was being hired. Turns out he had no intention of taking me out of Hastings.
Overall misrepresentation of salary potential and advancement. The job was posted as sales management. Turns out they only hire sales managers from within.
Not a good experience all around.
