      Communications Specialist Interview

      Jan 25, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Molina Healthcare

      Interview

First, I was reached out to by a recruiter to set up a 30-minute phone call with them. I was then moved along to a 45-minute video call with two hiring managers. After a pleasant interview experience, I got a very cold, robotic, automated email the next morning indicating that they were moving on, and also that they had changed the job location from remote as I initially applied to a specific location. I received no feedback as to why I was rejected. Honestly really disappointed to invest so much time in something and not even get a personal email for a rejection, it makes you feel as if your time was not valued.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Molina Healthcare (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2020

      Interview

Standard process for the most part, Hiring Manager reached out via email after I submitted application material and had set up an interview for the next day. Smooth interview, felt very confident. Left with the impression that I was waiting for a email to confirm the 2nd interview which would include a on-site visit. 3 weeks later, I followed up with the Hiring Manager curious as to where they were in the process only to be told they selected someone the day before for the role. I assumed they believed it would be kind gesture to let me know that I was "runner up" and in the event something were to happen they would connect. Mismanagement of talent was the deal breaker, a company simply shouldn't leave talented individuals in the clouds about where they stand in the process is flat out inconsiderate of others time -- if any positions were to become available in the near future I would respectfully decline. And I have a sneaky suspicious had I not taken the initiative and followed up myself, I may have not heard anything back from them.
