I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (New York, NY) in Apr 2013
Interview
Two solo interviews and a team based exercise. Everything was organized well and the materials handed out at the career day were great. Interviews were primarily focused on fit, enthusiasm for the role, not on technical knowledge. Initial screening took place during on-campus recruiting. For the interview, know what operations does. Knowledge of the firm is important but it's important to demonstrate that you actually desire to be an operations analyst and that you've taken the time to understand what function operations plays in an investment bank.
