      I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Movable Ink (New York, NY) in Apr 2022

      Interview

      Recruiter was great through every step of the process, however process was extensive and time consuming. Recruiter Interview Hiring Manager Interview 3 Person Panel Final 45 min Presentation This process took a month only to be told my Presentation didn't align with their vision of the product. The vision was never communicated and I provided multiple solutions for how the curriculum could be built out. Their process is entirely too long and they should not put candidates through this much only to be told a very generic reason for not being chosen. The panel of Interviewers did have good questions, however it felt misleading as the feedback seemed to be positive throughout the entire process until the last rejection email. If a specific vision for the product is key for how the solution should be built this should be communicated up front, instead of having the candidate guess on what they are looking for and giving creative freedom for your presentation and coming up with multiple scenarios only to be told it doesn't align with their vision.
